Captain Logan Camp

Right near Somerset and another one of Brisbane's water supply lakes.
This is another beautiful lake. There are no petrol engines allowed on the lake which means it can be a little more peaceful than Somerset. You are however free to take a non petrol vessel on the lake.
It is designated spots , you can get a map of spots on line and you can book a spot. They have a bin that the ranger empties and fire BBQ per spot which is lovely but when busy you have campers quite close to you.
It is another good spot to take kids but can be dry when the water levels are low. There is also friendly possums that come and visit you at night and plenty of birds during the day.
